                Chapter History:

                    Iota Chapter was founded Dec. 4, 1976. Our membership is comprised of women educators in        Lancaster,Palmdale, Quartz Hill, and Rosamond.

Chapter meetings are held each month of the school year, except January. Programs reflect the seven purposes of the society through guest speakers, informal discussion groups, cultural events, "grants-in-aid" and local community projects, Area IX Spring Festival, January joint chapters, state spring convention, international and regional conventions.

All members are encouraged to attend as many events in addition to the monthly meetings as possible.
