Welcome to the Delta Kappa Gamma Society International in Great Britain. Delta Kappa Gamma is a unique Society of Key Women educators with more than 90,000 members in eighteen countries promoting the professional and personal growth of members and excellence in education. The nurturing environment of the Society encourages all members to grow and reach the highest levels of professional and personal accomplishment. Those who become members are offered a lifelong association with other women educators engaged in the shared pursuit of common interests, goals and ideals. Members come from all fields of educational service and all are encouraged to participate in and contribute to the Society's programmes and activities. Delta Kappa Gamma operates at three closely integrated levels; local, national and international. Eighteen countries are members including, most recently, Japan. We in Great Britain are members of the European Region, which is comprised of nine countries with different languages, cultures, school systems and history. In Great Britain there are three chapters(groups): Alpha based in London, Beta in Plymouth and Gamma in Kent.
