Miss Storm became a charter member of Kappa Chapter in 1937 where she
worked for several years before she became inactive in the society.
She graduated from Southern Illinois University in 1906. She was well
known for her work in primary social studies which became a guide for
teachers. Her work on readers for young children was commendable.
She retired from the University of Chicago faculty after forty years of
service in 1952. She was a guest lecturer in demand at workshops and institutes
across the country and served as guest lecturer at various colleges until
1958.
