Welcome to Alpha Kappa
We are an affiliate of The Delta Kappa Gamma Society International and Eta State, North Carolina. We have fourteen active members living or working in Halifax County, North Carolina. We also have three Reserve Members, former active members no longer able to attend meetings.
We are an Active Chapter
We meet four times a year for programs and business. We also meet during the Christmas Season for socializing and to bring gifts for the neediest senior citizens in Halifax County. Our end of the year meeting is a celebration meeting with a barbecue chicken lunch. Recent projects have included donations for materials for teachers and tutoring students in reading.
