March 7, 2024 - Members Sallye Duncan (left) and Diane Colin provided entertainment after the meal by taking the attendees on a musical tour of Ireland. They presented five instrumental numbers playing Irish whistles, an Irish drum, a flute and the piano. Members sang along on the last song, Danny Boy.

March 7, 2024 - In appreciation for their performance, First Vice President Sheila Robertson (center) presented a rose bouquet to each of them.
 
March 7, 2024 - NC DKG President Hilda Parlér brought greetings from NC DKG. She emphasized that diversity at all levels is necessary for the survival of the Society. She encouraged the chapter to enhance initiatives to recruit new members, to reinstate former members, to retain active members, and to recognize members for their service and contributions to the work of the Gamma Chi Chapter.
 
March 7, 2024 - First Vice President Sheila Robertson (left) presented NC DKG President Hilda Parlér with a red rose and announced a Gamma Chi donation to the NC DKG Educational Foundation in her honor.
 

March 7, 2024 - Corresponding Secretary Evelyn Hall reported on the cards that she had sent since the last meeting.

 
March 7, 2024 - Awards Member Nancy Tunstall (right) presented member Robin Edwards with a trophy in recognition of her being nominated by the chapter for the NC DKG Beginning Teacher Award of Excellence.
 
March 7, 2024 - Scholarship Chair Betsy Clark reported on the Scholarship Committee's recommendation to award two grants-in-aid, two scholarships and one professional development grant. These awards will be presented at the May meeting.
