The International Conference: Arts & Humanties was held June 27-29 at the Crowne Plaza Resort in Asheville, North Carolina. It was hosted by NC DKG, and it was the first of five themed conferences. There were 451 DKG members in attendance. |

The conference concluded Saturday with a banquet showcasing the arts featuring Sheila Kay Adams, a seventh generation ballad singer, storyteller and claw-hammer banjo player from Sodom Laurel community of Madison County, NC; she read excerpts from one of her books, Come Go Home with Me, resulting in much laughter; she also entertained with her banjo playing |
