- your e-mail means that if, for example, you were on a committee and your name was listed as a committee member, it could be linked to your e-mail so people could contact you about committee stuff. No one is putting a list of e-mails on the web!
-other contact information means that if you were, for example, the registrar for an event, you could have your name, e-mail, address or phone number on the contact information for that one event.
