Purpose of the Golden Jubilee Professional Enrichment Awards
(Stipends)

In commemoration of Alpha Theta State's 50th anniversary, a fund was established to provide stipends to members to encourage continued personal and professional growth and enrichment. The stipends may be used for activities such as:

1. Meeting specific educational or professional needs.
2. Attending significant workshops, seminars or institutes.
3. Developing projects related to the purposes of the Society.
4. Participation in educational travel/study or elder hostels.
5. Enhancing leadership skills.

Application and Selection:

1. The applicant must complete the necessary application form, including the signature of the chapter president and return it by the due date.
2. The applicant must include evidence of contributions to the Delta Kappa Gamma Society International: offices held, committee work, regular attendance at chapter meetings, and attendance at state conventions.
3. The recipient of a stipend must remain a member in good standing for at least three years immediately following the receipt of the award or return the stipend
