The Ona Patterson Award

In honor on Ona Patterson, a noble teacher whose personal integrity and service to children has spanned decades, Alpha Theta State will award $500 to a member in good standing that:

1. Inspires children's literacy through writing.
2. Participates in professional writing experiences.
3. Serves as a role model to students as a writer.
4. Integrates the use of technology in expressive/creative writing.
