U.S. Forum Stipend Application
Women Poised for Legislative Action!

The purpose of the U.S. Forum is to identify and study issues affecting women, children and education on which Delta Kappa Gamma members may take action. A terrific opportunity awaits those selected to attend the U.S. Forum in Washington D.C. You will experience the workings of our U.S. Senators and Representatives and track how a bill becomes a law. You will also observe the power of women who make a difference!

You will experience first hand the national legislative process, hearing it as it really is, from Insiders. You will visit Capitol Hill in cherry-blossom time and interact with our own legislators. Furthermore, you will meet with other Delta Kappa Gamma members who are focused on similar concerns.

This training can lead to heightened interest and involvement with our own state legislature, school boards and other governmental bodies, particularly on those concerns which impact Utah's children as well as other vital social, educational and economic issues.
