Our chapter was founded May 15, 1948.
Alpha Zeta members represent the best in professional achievement from all levels from preschool to college level. Our members include classroom teachers, administrators, retired teachers, librarians and other education related professionals.
We have members who have celebrated fifty years of active membership in our chapter.
Our chapter has members in Grant, Huntington, Wabash and Whitley Counties.

We are the proud home chapter of Carol Herzog who served as Alpha Epsilon State President in 2003 - 2005 and in 2009 - 2011! Carol serves as Indiana State Organization Executive Secretary. She served on the steering committee for the 2014 International Committee, and she is the Delta Kappa Gamma Society International Northeast Representative on the Nominations Committee. Barbara Buroker serves as Personal Growth/Professional Affairs chairman, and she is a member of the Non-Dues Revenue Committee. Carol Winterholter is a member of the DKG Indiana State Organization Scholarship Committee. Michelle Ball is state chairman of the Non-Dues Revenue Committee. Brenda Landis serves on the state Scholarship Committee. Janet Vesa serves on the Indiana State Organization Rules Committee. Mary Catherine Palmer is a member of the DKG Indiana State Organization Membership Committee. Michelle Ball is the Chair of the DKG Indiana State Organization Non-Dues Revenue Committee. Victoria Eastman served on the 2014 International Convention Committee. Many of our members helped at the International Convention in Indianapolis.
