The Delta Kappa Gamma Society International

The Beta Alpha Chapter was organized by Dr. Virginia Jackson of Psi Chapter, Delta State (Missouri), April 17, 1971. Beta Alpha membership is primarily from the areas of Troy and Winfield.  Meetings are held in homes, churches, and schools and focus on topics that support the purposes of The Delta Kappa Gamma Society International. 

Chapter fund raisers provide book stipends for college education majors. All teachers and administrators from members' schools are recognized throughout the year with small momentos. i.e. "When you need a good laugh, here is a 'snicker'." (candy bar)
