2016 Bylaws Committee Report
One duty of the Bylaws Committee is to review chapter rules, and check that they are in compliance with both Alpha Rho State Bylaws, and also with the DKG Constitution and Standing Rules. Eighteen chapters have sent in their chapter rules, and we thank you. Those chapters that have not yet turned in their rules have now received email or a phone call asking for them to be sent in as soon as possible. Please try to get them to me by June 30th.
Another duty we have is to receive suggestions for updating our state bylaws and standing rules. This year we will only be considering changes to our standing rules. All proposals must be submitted by OCTOBER 15, 2016 to be considered at our Alpha Rho State Convention in 2017. All chapters, committees, and/or individual members are eligible to submit proposed changes.
