2016 District 4 Coordinator Report
District 4 is comprised of Alpha Omega, Alpha Omicron, and Tau, and reaches from Seaside to Scappoose. Even though our district is spread out over miles and our membership numbers are few, we are forever mindful of our vision statement of leading women educators and impacting education worldwide.
In April, District 4 Chapters will gather at the home Linda McCoy, District 4 Coordinator, for a tea luncheon and fellowship with Chapter members.
Our focus over this past year has been to create and work toward implementing our Strategic Action Plans, supporting the BEAR Project, art literacy, Dictionary Project, and history projects in our local schools, providing mini grants to local educators, and encouraging children through the Samaritan Purse-Operation Christmas Child.
The membership challenge once again continues to be of utmost importance within each of our local chapters. We will continue to address ways to maintain and embrace new members in the coming year.
Linda McCoy, Alpha Omicron/4
