2016 Report of District 5 Coordinator
The duties of the District Coordinator are to serve as a liaison between the chapters of her district and the state, attend chapter meetings and provide assistance as needed. My activities during the year were:
- Attended the State Leadership Transition Meeting June 20, 2015 in Monmouth.
- Attended the Northwest Regional Conference in Regina, Saskatchewan July 27- Aug. 1, 2015. I went early to attend the Webmaster and Editor Workshops to gather information for our state personnel and for personal enrichment.
- Attended the State’s Fall Conference, September 12, 2015, in Philomath, Oregon.
- Sent emails during the year to presidents in District 5 to remind them of specific dates when things were due.
- Communicated with individual members through emails.
- I am planning on attending the Spring Conference in Pendleton the end of April and first part of May.
As of the writing of this report, I haven’t visited any chapters this year due to family responsibilities. I will try to schedule visitations between now and the end of May. Looking forward to continuing my friendship with the present presidents and developing a rapport with the new chapter presidents elected this Spring.
