2016 Report of Immediate Past State President
Alpha Rho StateThe duties of the Immediate Past State President, Alpha Rho State, are to serve in an advisory capacity to the president and perform those duties assigned by the president and/or the Executive Board. My activities during the year were:
- Passed the President’s files to Dr. Cindy Ryan and offered her suggestions on whom she might ask to be part of her Leadership Team.
- Attended the State Leadership Transition Meeting, June 20, 2015 in Monmouth.
- Attended the Northwest Regional Conference in Regina, Saskatchewan July 27- Aug. 1, 2015. I went early to attend the Webmaster and Editor Workshops to gather information for our state personnel and for personal enrichment.
- Attended the State’s Fall Conference September 12, 2015 in Philomath, Oregon.
- I am planning on attending the Spring Conference in Pendleton, the end of April and first part of May.
It is my pleasure to serve in an advisory role to President Cindy and her Leadership Team this biennium. I offer support and knowledge when needed or when asked. The rapport I built with chapters during my biennium helps me to be a liaison person between the chapters and the Leadership Team.
