The Elderhostel Personal Growth Grant was established at the
Spring 1992 Workshop in Casper. It was the idea of President
Glenda Reynolds. Dona Gates made the initial contribution. Monies
for the grant are contributed by Society chapters as their thank
you to the State President for her visit or by members wishing
to contribute.

To apply for our grant
The applicant must have been an active member for at least
five years and be 55 years of age or older.
The completed application must be received at one of the following
times: July 30th for fall; December 30 th for spring; March 30th
for summer.
To apply, submit the information requested below to Personal
Growth Chairman, Sandy Francis, francis@trib.com,or obtain a
form from her or your chapter president.
Applications must include the following:
Name
Telephone number
Address
Chapter
Initiation date
Proposed use of the Hostelship which includes the place of study
and the type of program
Reference from Chapter President
A recent photograph
Applicant's signature
Chapter President's signature
Upon completion of the program write a brief (one page) summary
of the Elderhostel experience and include one or more photos
to share at a state convention display. You may be asked to do
a convention workshop about your experience.
