Happy New Year!

As we enter a new year we typically hear people ask us about our resolution(s). You won't find that question in this newsletter. I'd prefer to ask each member about your past year because I believe that our past experiences build stronger futures.

So, how was 2009? What did you experience in 2009? Did you learn a new skill? Did you help a friend or family member? Did you mentor someone? Did you laugh with a family member? Did you cry with a family member? Did you visit a special place? Did you learn to appreciate something about yourself or another person? I hope that you were able to answer "yes" for many of the questions because that means that you were growing with each experience and building a stronger future. I hope that 2010 offers many more opportunities for you to learn and grow!

On January 23rd we will gather at the Center for Biblical Studies for our chapter meeting. We will vote on a recommendation for membership and participate in a program provided by the Personal Growth Committee. I hope that you will make a concerted effort to attend our meeting, wish your "sisters" a happy new year, and take advantage of the opportunity to learn and grow in 2010!

Smiles,
Janice
