Alpha Kappa Newsletter ![]() The Delta Kappa Gamma Society International Alpha Kappa of Mu State Mission Statement The Delta Kappa Gamma Society International promotes professional and personal growth of women educators and excellence in education. ![]() November, 2010 - Newsletter #4
Our November birthday ladies are Gloria Ward (11/22) and Barbara Savelle (11/23). We send you wishes for a day
filled with love and fond memories.I hope that Alpha Kappa will be well represented at the Initiation Luncheon at the Wildwood Resort and Country Club in Crawfordville from 11 A.M. to 1 P.M. on November 20th. We have two wonderful initiates: Joy Miller and Katherine Kenton. The deadline to get your $15.00 dollars to Rhonda Work is November 12th. Also don't forget that we are going together with all the Big Bend Delta Kappa Gamma chapters for a fund raiser at 10,000 Villages on December 6th from 5-8 P.M. A percentage of all sales will go to the scholarship fund. The World Fellowship Committee will be in charge of refreshments. What could be better than buying gifts for love ones, good food, and giving to education. . .what a perfecta! I talked to Ceil Hack and she is slowly improving after her accident. Her insurance will only cover about another week of daytime help. Starting next week she would very much appreciate friends stopping by to visit. When thinking back to the last couple of meeting, I realize how many people I owe thanks for making our fellowship so successful and personally rewarding. Here is a list:
You have all been a blessing to me and to Delta Kappa Gamma. Thank you amd God bless. Happy Thanksgiving, Missy |
