focuses on practical tips for the classroom and for DKG; on sharing viewpoints on educational and DKG topics; and on providing a place for creative expression. In particular, the editorial board hopes that the magazine will be a place to exchange ideas about “controversial” topics.

Celeste Johnson, Kappa, was named Teacher of the Year for Richmond Community Schools for 2015-16 .
Phyllis Eloff, Kappa, was named Friend of Education for Richmond Community Schools for 2015-16. Congratulations to these two excellent teachers and to Kappa Chapter!
Congratulations also to Sigma Chapter's newest member, Anna Rominger, who was named Sagamore of the Wabash recently. Few women educators have held this honor.
Congratulations to Terry Wiedner of Muncie! Her article, "Generations Do Differ: Best Practices in Leading Traditionalists, Boomers, and Generations X,Y, Z," had been chosen for inclusion in Vol. 82-1 Issue of The International Journal for Professional Educators.

Elections for State Officers 2017
Officers to be elected at the April 2017 State Convention are President, First Vice President, Second Vice, Secretary, and also Nominations/Personnel Committee members from Northeast (Councils 3 and 6) and Southwest (Councils 10 and 12).
Timeline for President, First and Second Vice President, and Secretary applications:
An article will be in the summer 2016 Hoosier Newsette giving detailed information about officer responsibilities as well as the necessary forms.
